Niagara Falls is one of the top destinations in northern America. In 2008 there were 20 million visitors and by 2009 they aspect approximately 28 million visitors. The favorite time for the tourist is of course the summer time because you can see the show of lights till midnight. The Niagara Falls is situated on the Niagara River, at borderline of Canada, Ontario and the state of New York, United States of America. The falls are separated in two major sections, the Canadian falls that has most of the falls on the Niagara River including the Horseshoe Falls the American Falls with the smaller Bridal Veil Falls.

From the American side you can watch the Niagara Falls from air or on land. You can get on top of everyone else by flying on Flight of Angels helium air balloon or with a helicopter. If you are not into extreme sports you can easily see the water dropping show from Prospect Point Park that has an observation tower and a dock for Maid of the Mist boat. One of the top attractions on the American side is the point beneath the Bridal Veil Falls where you can get to with an elevator from the Goat Island. This point is called Cave of Winds and it creates similar conditions as a hurricane. All this and many more interesting places that allow you to see the fall from different sides you’ll find it in Niagara Falls State Park.

The Canadian side offers tourists many underground passages that you can get to with elevators or by foot. One passage takes you behind Horseshoe Falls and being there gives you the feeling that you are part of the fall. The highest overview over the falls is on the observation deck from Skylon Tower and if you can stop for a minute and look in the opposite direction you can see from distance the beautiful Toronto. If you want to cross from the American side to the Canadian one you can go with the Whirlpool Aero Car that is a cable car that takes you to the whirlpool on the other side.

The Niagara Falls has its charm, so its no wonder that is the perfect place for honeymoons, movie making, writing books about it and doing stunts over it.

Angel falls is knows as the highest waterfall because is dropping from 979 meters into the Devil’s canyon. The local people call it Kerepakupai-mer but it has inherited the world known name after Jimmy Angel who discovered it in 1937.

The best way to see the waterfall is by plane and around that part are a lot of day tours that can make your vacation as good as possible. The trip by plane offers you the chance to see the whole Canaima National park which includes Angel falls among all other lakes and waterfalls. In the 2 day/ 1 night trip you will get to see from high above the Island of Coche, the Aray Peninsula, the Orinoco river that is the sixths longest river in the world; you’ll fly over the largest man made lakes Guri Dam and Guri Lake, and no longer after that the imposing Angel fall will rise in front of you. The trip will end in the amazing Canaima Lagoon where you have the possibility to swim, have lungh, drink and buy souvenirs and enjoy the unique area.

If you prefer to be closer to nature you can go on a motor boat trip. One of the stops will be made at the Warao Indians to learn how they manage to live in the isolated swamps of the jungle. One of the indigenous people will walk you in the beautiful jungle to discover the diversity of plants and animals. Along the way you can see the howler monkeys, cappuccino monkeys, freshwater dolphins, and many species of snakes and many other wild specimens. The rich flora covers the land with tall giant trees and with a multitude of diverse flowers. For the fishing fans they’ll get the chance to fish for Piranha which is abundant in these places.

It is recommended that you’ll bring along a hat, long trousers and long-sleeve shirt, insect repellent, camera, flashing light, shorts and swimming suit so that your vacation can turn into the best experience ever. The Angel falls can be only a good excuse to adventure into the great jungle and to discover another way of living
