If you are planning to visit Jordan the first attraction on your visiting list will be Petra. Petra is the stone city situated in south-west of Jordan and it is one of the new seventh wonders, the second to be more specific. This archeological site is one of the most visited one in the whole world and it was declared by UNESCO in 1985 a world heritage site.

Petra was built by the nabataeans in stone that’s why this city is so impressive. They had a unique building stile, they carved the stone from top to bottom not the other way around. The city was under two different dominations, the nabataeans and the Roman Empire, and it was abandoned after an earthquake destroyed a part of it. The city became known to the occident in 1812 when Johann Ludwig Burckhardt discovered it. From that point the city was at first filled with archeologist and after that they were replaced with tourists.

Petra is impressive by its size and its multitude of colors that change according to the sun light. You will remain astounded by its beauty and its history. To be sure that you can visit a big part of the city you can rent a donkey, a horse or a camel and if you like to visit the site alone but still want some information about it, you can rent an audio devise that will inform you. To get a better look at the constructions and to retain much information as you can it is recommended to not visit all in one day because you risk to not remember very much and it’s a waist.

Petra has not designated itself one of the new seventh wonders, it was voted as one and this act proves that people are still interested to know, learn and see more of ancient history. Rekem as it was actually named is annually visited by millions of tourists that go back home filled of satisfaction and joy of seeing something unique, Petra.

Antalya is one of the many resorts in Turkey, but this one in comparison with the other has something special that attracts many tourists. Most of the tourist are European because they like to combine the luxury of a vacation with a little bit of the oriental taste and turkey has exactly what they need. Most of the tourists like that in their vacations to do nothing except lying at the sun without any worries. Antalya offers this to them and many more.

On the fine sand beaches of Antalya you can go snorkeling, parasailing, rafting and many more beach games la volleyball and football. Another alternative is climbing mountains and tracking but you have to try it first to believe it. Near the city are many ancient sites that you can go visit on a road trip like the Aspendos, Perge, Manavga and Side. Aspendos is an amphitheatre which is the largest and better shaped of its kind.

Here are some recommendations on where to go while you are in Antalya: Iskele Mosque which is the oldest one in the harbor area, the Antalya Archeological Museum, the Suna and Inan Kirac Museum and the beautiful Yivli Minaret and Mosque which are famous for its fluted minaret. If you like narrow alleys and old archways and enjoy relaxing in great gardens than the Kaleici or the citadel is the perfect place. Hidirilik tower is still a mystery because its use it’s still unknown. It dates back to the Roman time and the theories about it are numerous, but some of the most popular ones are: a lighthouse, a defense tower or a tomb.

Where beach, sun and good will are there is nightlife to. Here you can find traditional bars where you can taste the traditional food and drinks and where you can learn to dance like the Turkish. The Turkish now how to have fun and they’ll spread their joy all around and make the tourists feel good so that they won’t forget the vacation in Antalya and to come back.

Considered the most romantic city, Paris is one of the top destinations for new couples or for newlyweds. Paris is a big history concentration city with lots of museums, churches, palaces and parks to see. One of the big symbols of the city is Tour Eiffel. Millions of tourists come to climb the tower every ear and maybe if you are lucky you’ll get the chance to eat in the restaurant from the last floor. If visiting the Eiffel tower takes a few hours to a day if you have to wait your turn in line, than you have to charge yourself with lots of patience to visit the grand Louvre Museum. So that you can visit the whole museum it takes almost a week designated only for that. There are lots of important exhibits and many exposition rooms so take a piece of paper and a pen with you to note down what you have seen so that you won’t forget.

If you want to see the most spectacular view over the city you have to climb to the highest point in Paris where is situated the Sacre Coeur church. Climbing there you’ll get the chance to visit the church, see the great view over Paris and visit the artist area that is behind the church. Notre Dame is the most popular church and it’s visited by million of tourists as well as the Tour Eiffel, Versailles Palace, Opera Garnier, Pantheon, Saint Chapelle and many other tourist destinations.

If you are a romantic person you can take you love one and stroll on Champ Elysse to the Arc of Triumph. This way you’ll give her the chance to see the city under the artificial lights and to see the famous monument. A replica of the Arc of Triumph, but in a more modern way is Grand Arche de la Defense which is situated in the new district.

For more information of what to visit and how to get there you can go to an info point and buy a tourist map that has all the important landmarks on it. Enjoy your staying in the City of Lights.

This city is so popular that many mistake it with the capital of the United States of America, Washington. Is the city of fuss, the city that never sleeps, which everyone wants to go to at least once in a lifetime. It is knows all over the world because of its multiculturalism, the events, the social differenced that are showing up at every step and blending with the tall and imposing buildings.

One of the most recognizable icons of the United States is in New York City, the much known lady, the Statue of Liberty. The statue is situated on the Liberty Island on the New York harbor. She commemorates the centennial from the United Stated Declaration of Independence signing and it was received as a sign of friendship from France. Another attraction is the Empire state building which at the moment is the tallest one in New York City. At the 86th and 102nd floor there are two observation decks open for the public. The one from the 86th floor is the most popular one and bigger that the one from the 102nd floor. From up here you have the best landscape of New York City so its no wonder that every tourist that comes to visit the city, visits the Empire State Building as well.

As for the parks you can walk through Central Park, Washington Square Park, Bronx Zoo and New York botanical garden. While you are walking though the big park you’ll notice the difference, is like you’re not in NYC because everything is so quiet, but it only takes a glimpse to the sky to see the skyscrapers to remember where you are. The Bronx Zoo is much known for its multitudes of animals and the shows that are always there to entertain the visitors.

If you are a fun of the arts you can go watch a theatre play on Broadway or you can visit the Metropolitan Museum of Art or you can relax watching a movie in one of the many cinemas in the city. If you want to buy something for friends and family you can visit Fifth and Madison Avenue, here you can find the luxury shops and the best dinning places.

New York City has everything for everyone, restaurants and accommodation for every nationality because in this city everyone is welcome to live the American Dream and they try it to make you feel as home. Or at least to make you not forget it and that you’ll wish to come back.

The beautiful capital of Mexico, Mexico City is one of the most desired tourist’s destinations because of its complexity. In Zocalo you’ll feel like you are living in two worlds, the past and the present day. This area is loaded with history and present day activities as well. Zocalo is one of the many ever changing districts from Mexico City; here at every step you’ll encounter the harmony combining the old with the modern. Chapultepek Park is a good example, one part of the park you’ll is still today as it was centuries ago, but in the other side you’ll find the entertainers that are always there to make you, your family and friends happy.

Mexico City was build up on history so get ready to find at every step a part of that history that makes the Mexicans the way that are today. At the moment are over a dozen archeological sites in the city ready to discover something new about their ancestors and you could be there when history is written. One of the hot points to visit is the floating gardens that were built in the Aztecs time. A nice guide will take you through the garden and he’ll give you a short brief on how they are built and how to grow some of the plants in your own home.

If history can be found at every step the same thing I can say about distractions. Mexico City has one of the wildest night lives around, from the European pubs to their own traditional mariachi clubs. You should try their fantastic food, but be careful with the spices because the Mexicans are used to eat very spice, but is not on everyone’s taste. And of course the traditional Tequila with the worm inside that is popular all world around but here you can taste the original one.

Here you have everything you want for a vacation in a city, history, night life, good food and drinks and beautiful view over the ever changing city. Have fun discovering it yourself!

We are still in South America but a little bit more to the south of the continent, more exactly in the former capital of Brazil, Rio de Janeiro (River of January). The city is well known for the famous carnival that takes place every ear with 40 days before Easter. The samba schools are getting ready all year long so that everything will work out perfect, from the dance moves to the costumes, which have more or less material, but they always have a big impact on the public. So, if you can go at the Rio de Janeiro Carnival do it because you have nothing to loose. You will have part of 4 days of “lust”, 4 days without sleeping, only dancing along with the inhabitants, drink and have fun. The carnival is only on of the reasons that you should visit this city.

Rio de Janeiro is the city of contrasts. In this city live together the richest and the poor people as well, they have the residential neighborhoods in the center and the slums are on the hills where is hard to build tall and elegant buildings for the elite. Even if this to separate social classes are so apart, financially speaking, they live together in harmony and they enjoy every day through dance, football and carnival. And above all the fun and promiscuity raises the statue of Jesus who watches every samba move.

Here are some places in Rio de Janeiro that you must go to if you are there. Lapa is the district where the party people should go because it has the best night life around. If you are looking for the best beaches to get a ten on, Praihna is a little beach loved by the surfers because it is hidden from the rest of the crowded places and has the most breathtaking landscape.

If you want a party destination this will be one of them. Rio de Janeiro has everything for everyone, for any taste and budget. And while you are there don’t hesitate to learn some sexy samba moves so that you can impress your friends.
