When you think at Jamaica you think at Bob Marley, reggae music, beautiful ladies and beaches and lots of fun. Well Jamaica means all this and many more starting with its people and its culture. Even if the island is situated in the center of the Caribbean archipelago Jamaica shares nothing with the rest of the islands besides the climate. When you arrive here you’ll see another way of living, the Jamaican way. The Jamaican people are a mix of all races present on the face of the planet and because of that everything here is mixed in harmony. Here you can eat all kinds of types of food and you’ll encounter some of the known religions and discover some new ones.

Jamaica offers to its visitors not only great sandy beaches but mountains as well. You can trek and climb on the peaks on Blue Mountain and come down on the waterfalls that are carving the mountain. If you are in the mood for adventure than you can hop-in in one of the bamboo rafts and ride down on the Martha Brae River or Rio Grande. To satisfy your need for adrenaline you can cliff climb in Negril from where you let yourself go from a 40 feet cliff and embrace the Caribbean see. Another unique way to spend your day it will be by visiting the underground caves underneath the country. To get a better picture of what Jamaica means and walking is not good enough than you can rent an ATV and go on a safari on the roadsides of the island.

While you are in Jamaica you have to visit some of the natural wonders that this island has to offer. The limestone cave labyrinths, the gushing waterfalls and the mineral spring with curative power are all part of the wonders Jamaica has. To learn more about the country you are in you can visit the museums and galleries, or, another way to learn about them is to go in the market places where all the “magic” happens. Here you can find anything from culture to crafts, all you have to do is watch, learn and buy.

Singapore – the “Lion city”

The Republic of Singapore is an island city-state located in the southern tip of Malay Peninsula. This little island has passed trough many political changes but the last one and that is working very well and now is the republican government. Since its independence the economy has risen and the life of the people has changed into better. To increase the number of visitors the government had legalized gambling games and opened two casinos. Nowadays Singapore is very visited for its mixed Asian, Arabic and Malay culture, cuisine and beautiful scenery that the island has to offer.

Because it has millions of tourist every year the tourism agencies have lots of tours prepared so that the tourist won’t get bored. One of the most attraction points in Singapore is the Zoo Night Safari where you can see the animals and feel the jungle fever more intensely by night when only the moonlight is lightening the zoo. The tour in the jungle is made by a tourist tram from which you can see all the fierce animals or the little dwellers in their own habitat and their comportment by night. Petra – one of the seventh wonders

If you are planning to visit Jordan the first attraction on your visiting list will be Petra. Petra is the stone city situated in south-west of Jordan and it is one of the new seventh wonders, the second to be more specific. This archeological site is one of the most visited one in the whole world and it was declared by UNESCO in 1985 a world heritage site.

Petra was built by the nabataeans in stone that’s why this city is so impressive. They had a unique building stile, they carved the stone from top to bottom not the other way around. The city was under two different dominations, the nabataeans and the Roman Empire, and it was abandoned after an earthquake destroyed a part of it. The city became known to the occident in 1812 when Johann Ludwig Burckhardt discovered it. From that point the city was at first filled with archeologist and after that they were replaced with tourists.

Petra is impressive by its size and its multitude of colors that change according to the sun light. You will remain astounded by its beauty and its history. To be sure that you can visit a big part of the city you can rent a donkey, a horse or a camel and if you like to visit the site alone but still want some information about it, you can rent an audio devise that will inform you. To get a better look at the constructions and to retain much information as you can it is recommended to not visit all in one day because you risk to not remember very much and it’s a waist.

Petra has not designated itself one of the new seventh wonders, it was voted as one and this act proves that people are still interested to know, learn and see more of ancient history. Rekem as it was actually named is annually visited by millions of tourists that go back home filled of satisfaction and joy of seeing something unique, Petra.

Egypt – the land of Pharaohs

Travel in Egypt the land where great Pharaohs lived and left behind them a great legacy, the pyramids. Of course that the Giza pyramids are the principal attractions but there not the only ones.

Cairo is the capital of Egypt and it’s a great city to visit. You can climb on the Cairo Tower from where you have a 360-view of Cairo and you can go and visit the Egyptian museum that has the only collection of ancient Egyptian artifacts. You can also visit the oldest mosque in Cairo the Ibn Tulun and the Citadel that is a grand palace build by Salah Al-Din.

Near the capital are of course the famous pyramids that keep the secret of the pharaohs even now after so many centuries. The archeologist still try to discover the mystery behind there construction mode and there hieroglyphs. Unfortunately you can’t get very close, a bus tour with a guide will take you as near as possible and the guide will inform you about them. The desert doesn’t offer you only the pyramids but some beautiful oases where you can reach to by camel or by horse. The nature sculpted in the lime rock and after years of hard work some great colorful shapes are revealed. The “exhibition” can be watched at the sunset from under a palm tree near a lake and admire the changing colors that sun gives them.

If so much sun is too much for you than you can go on the Nile till the see. You can go on a cruise boat on the Nile and observe the cradle the civilization that surrounds it. The diversity of animals and birds that live here thanks to this river. The beauty of this country does not end with the shore of the Mediterranean Sea; you can go under water and watch the spectacular game of colors under the Red Sea. The resorts from the sea coast are at your disposal to make you feel as a pharaoh.

So if you want to be treated as a pharaoh you have to come to Egypt!

Antalya, the first Oriental resort

Antalya is one of the many resorts in Turkey, but this one in comparison with the other has something special that attracts many tourists. Most of the tourist are European because they like to combine the luxury of a vacation with a little bit of the oriental taste and turkey has exactly what they need. Most of the tourists like that in their vacations to do nothing except lying at the sun without any worries. Antalya offers this to them and many more.

On the fine sand beaches of Antalya you can go snorkeling, parasailing, rafting and many more beach games la volleyball and football. If you like narrow alleys and old archways and enjoy relaxing in great gardens than the Kaleici or the citadel is the perfect place. Hidirilik tower is still a mystery because its use it’s still unknown. It dates back to the Roman time and the theories about it are numerous, but some of the most popular ones are: a lighthouse, a defense tower or a tomb.

Where beach, sun and good will are there is nightlife to. Here you can find traditional bars where you can taste the traditional food and drinks and where you can learn to dance like the Turkish. Tenerife, the paradise island

Tenerife is a little island situated in the Atlantic Ocean near the African coast and is part of the Canary Islands. Although it is a small island you will be amazed by the multitude of natural wonders that it has. The island has as many zonal areas like the continent has. Here you can see people harvesting potatoes and orange trees as well, the scenery is changing as you stroll on the island and the beautiful landscape will impress you at every step. The only thing that will not change is the image of Mount Teide, a volcano that is looking over the whole island.

Even if you see Mount Teide from any point of the island I recommend going on a tour to get a better look at it. The Las Canadas del Teide itinerary takes you on the volcano. This itinerary gives you the opportunity to see the Teide above the clouds. After you have passed the pine trees area the landscape transforms into a volcanic area with a multitude of colors like ochre, yellow and green. There are a few itineraries like this one that takes you to see the most spectacular view of the island like Punta de Hidalgo and Macizo de Anaga.

For the beach lovers here are some famous beaches in the two most visited resorts in Tenerife, Puerto de la Cruz and Santa Cruz de Tenerife. Martianez pond was build by the well-known artist Cesar Manrique and the way that he combined the water with the architecture is unique, its one of the most popular beaches in Tenerife. Teresitas beach is located in Santa Cruz de Tenerife and has golden sand brought all the way from the Sahara desert. In Santa Cruz you can also find nudist beaches like Playa de la Gaviota.

If you want to take a day off from the sun you can go and visit the Museum from Tenerife. This way you can learn a little bit of Tenerife’s history and for this there are three museums that you can visit. “La Recova” Art Center where art exhibitions take place, Natural and Human History Museum and City Library and Fine Arts Museum. Another historic monument that you can visit is not in a museum it is situated in open air, the Black pyramids are very popular around here so don’t miss the chance to visit them.

Paris, the City of Lights

Considered the most romantic city, Paris is one of the top destinations for new couples or for newlyweds. Paris is a big history concentration city with lots of museums, churches, palaces and parks to see. One of the big symbols of the city is Tour Eiffel. Millions of tourists come to climb the tower every ear and maybe if you are lucky you’ll get the chance to eat in the restaurant from the last floor. If visiting the Eiffel tower takes a few hours to a day if you have to wait your turn in line, than you have to charge yourself with lots of patience to visit the grand Louvre Museum. So that you can visit the whole museum it takes almost a week designated only for that. There are lots of important exhibits and many exposition rooms so take a piece of paper and a pen with you to note down what you have seen so that you won’t forget.

If you want to see the most spectacular view over the city you have to climb to the highest point in Paris where is situated the Sacre Coeur church. Climbing there you’ll get the chance to visit the church, see the great view over Paris and visit the artist area that is behind the church. Notre Dame is the most popular church and it’s visited by million of tourists as well as the Tour Eiffel, Versailles Palace, Opera Garnier, Pantheon, Saint Chapelle and many other tourist destinations.

If you are a romantic person you can take you love one and stroll on Champ Elysse to the Arc of Triumph. This way you’ll give her the chance to see the city under the artificial lights and to see the famous monument. A replica of the Arc of Triumph, but in a more modern way is Grand Arche de la Defense which is situated in the new district.

Ibiza, the lust island

When you say Ibiza you say party, sun ten and lots of fun. Ibiza is the perfect island for people who love their life to maximum and still want some more. During the day time, if you got bored at the beach you can go in excursion, on see or on land. The Big Apple – New York City

This city is so popular that many mistake it with the capital of the United States of America, Washington. Is the city of fuss, the city that never sleeps, which everyone wants to go to at least once in a lifetime. It is knows all over the world because of its multiculturalism, the events, the social differenced that are showing up at every step and blending with the tall and imposing buildings.

One of the most recognizable icons of the United States is in New York City, the much known lady, the Statue of Liberty. The statue is situated on the Liberty Island on the New York harbor. She commemorates the centennial from the United Stated Declaration of Independence signing and it was received as a sign of friendship from France. Another attraction is the Empire state building which at the moment is the tallest one in New York City. At the 86th and 102nd floor there are two observation decks open for the public. The one from the 86th floor is the most popular one and bigger that the one from the 102nd floor. From up here you have the best landscape of New York City so its no wonder that every tourist that comes to visit the city, visits the Empire State Building as well.

As for the parks you can walk through Central Park, Washington Square Park, Bronx Zoo and New York botanical garden. While you are walking though the big park you’ll notice the difference, is like you’re not in NYC because everything is so quiet, but it only takes a glimpse to the sky to see the skyscrapers to remember where you are.  The Bronx Zoo is much known for its multitudes of animals and the shows that are always there to entertain the visitors.

If you are a fun of the arts you can go watch a theatre play on Broadway or you can visit the Metropolitan Museum of Art or you can relax watching a movie in one of the many cinemas in the city. If you want to buy something for friends and family you can visit Fifth and Madison Avenue, here you can find the luxury shops and the best dinning places.

New York City has everything for everyone, restaurants and accommodation for every nationality because in this city everyone is welcome to live the American Dream and they try it to make you feel as home. Or at least to make you not forget it and that you’ll wish to come back.
